The Chicago Chess Foundation welcomes your assistance as it builds a robust chess community throughout the City of Chicago. The contributions of dedicated parents, teachers, school administrators and students are essential to our mission.
• Parents frequently provide the energy and support necessary to bring chess to children in their communities. Parents should consider partnering with CCF to launch new chess clubs in their schools, churches and libraries. We will support your efforts. Parents can also volunteer at tournaments and camps, ensuring a positive experience for all participating students.
• High school students frequently serve as chess mentors and trainers in elementary schools. The CCF can also use talented high school students as volunteers during tournaments. In many cases high school volunteers can earn service learning credits for their efforts.
• Teachers and school administrators are frequently catalysts for dynamic school chess programs. Some teachers choose to integrate chess into their curriculums and others are enthusiastic about coaching. The CCF can guide teachers toward educational tools for the classroom and opportunities for professional development. The foundation can also provide resources to teachers hoping to serve as scholastic chess coaches.

The Chicago Chess Foundation needs your assistance as we build a robust chess community throughout the City of Chicago. Cash donations will advance the goals of the foundation, but your support as a volunteer, coach or mentor is just as important. Each new chess club or chess team created by the foundation is only as strong as the human network we can embed into the program. Please volunteer your time to launch these valuable programs and foster the next generation of Chicago grandmasters.
The Chicago Chess Foundation needs your financial assistance as we build a robust chess community throughout the City of Chicago. Cash donations will advance the goals of the foundation through the purchase of equipment, the rental of spaces for events, the hiring of professionals to provide training to volunteer organizers and the operations of our advocacy efforts. While most other organizations charge fees that put chess events out of reach of most eligible players, our goal is to provide chess learning opportunities at no or low cost. Please commit to a recurring donation amount in order to help launch these valuable programs and foster the next generation of Chicago grandmasters.
